Companion mobile app introduced for California Spring Trials 2018

West Chicago, Ill. – Visitors to the Ball Horticultural Company stop during California Spring Trials will tour through immersive displays for hundreds of new products from all facets of the greenhouse industry. CAST18 in Santa Paula (April 14-17) is the premier event for innovative plants, breakthrough varieties and series improvements. To further enhance the CAST18 experience, a new mobile companion app is free of charge and available in the App Store and at Google Play with special features for visitors and nontravelers alike.

CAST mobile lets users browse 2019 introductions from the companies on display at the Ball stop in Santa Paula. Explore plants A to Z by class and dive into what’s new. App users can share their enthusiasm for products that spark their interest with a “Like” button. Additional notes and annotations can be made in-app, and then emailed for an electronic record of favorites.

“We are looking forward to hosting another stellar Spring Trials event this April. We’re excited to welcome our guests and share all our latest introductions. CAST18 is shaping up to be a very memorable experience,” says Stacey Noble, Spring Trials Coordinator for Ball Horticultural Company. “Now with CAST mobile, visitors can take the experience with them as they travel the coast, or interact with it from the comfort of their office chair.”
