Facebook released a new feature of setting facebook Profile picture a video. So your FB profile picture can be a gif or video. Facebook released this feature only for mobile and soon FB Profile Video will be updated in website also. Facebook initiated this feature in mobile as “Profile Video” with a tagline “Bring your Profile Picture to Live with a video“. The Facebook profile videos should be less in size and length to make them as Facebook Profile pictures. This idea may come from the already existed mobile apps “Dubsmashor Snapchat” etc.

How to set Facebook Profile Video:

To set FB Profile Video, you need to have Facebook Mobile app in your mobile because this feature not yet released for the Facebook website (Facebook Home/ Profile). Take your video of size less than 15 secs because lengthy videos cannot be supported as Profile Videos. Or you can also record a video while you are setting the profile video.

• Open Facebook Mobile application in your Mobile.
• Open your FB Profile from the setting menu items.
• Just tap on your profile picture there you can find multiple options (Upload Photo, Choose from Photos, View Photo and Profile Videos).
• Choose the option Profile Videos. Now select the profile video from already existing videos or record your own video.
• That’s it, your Facebook Profile Picture a video now.

Facebook released this feature to iPhone users or iOS users first and then to Android users.

This feature can become a killer feature of the application and hoping this craze will run for few more months. This feature is already released for few operating systems and the operating systems which are going to be availed this feature have an option “Upcoming feature: Profile Videos”. And also, Facebook saying that they will intimate once the feature is available. for example Facebook Profile Videos for Android mobiles.
