The average person checks their phone 80 times a day. From emails and text messages to social media and surfing the web, we can all relate using our phones for pretty much everything. If you don’t already have Gather’s mobile app, we’re giving you new reasons to make it a regular part of your day.
Our recent update makes it even easier to manage leads and edit, send event proposals, stay in touch and track your sales numbers — anywhere, anytime.
One of the top features on the mobile app is receiving and responding to leads on the go. Our newest version includes the ability to create and edit leads, in addition to getting new lead notifications. This means you can receive a push notification for an incoming lead, use a message template to respond in seconds, and now, you can make changes to that lead if need be. You can also create a lead on the spot if you’re networking or see a new opportunity for business when you’re outside of the office.
Once leads are in Gather, the mobile app will now show lead status. Whether a lead is active, converted, or archived, it will show up under the appropriate category in the leads tab, which helps you reference where the opportunity is in your sales process and how best to follow up. And, when you need to archive a lead, you can do that from your app. Archived leads include a notes section where any comments will be added to team communication so they can be referenced down the road. That’s what we call working smarter, not harder.
Finally, leads in mobile will show lead tracking, so you know where the lead came from. This helps in the initial planning process for context as your team may treat certain leads differently. However you use it, you can rest easy knowing this is something you can see and edit on our new version of the mobile app.
Send event proposals on the go to secure business faster
Have you ever had a customer ask for a proposal while you’re out of the office or onsite at another event? It happens, we know. You can now send event proposals from the mobile app, just like you would from Gather. Once the booking is built, you can preview, send, and even revoke a proposal on mobile. Better yet, we’ll show you when the proposal was sent and signed!
To keep event information at your fingertips, we’ve added an event summary breakdown so you can quickly view charge categories and menu specifics from within the app. Bookings also have new, enhanced look for the financial details to make reviewing them quick and easy.
Track performance on the go
Keeping an eye on event satisfaction and how sales are trending is top of mind for owners and operators. Our performance tab highlights guest feedback and sales reporting. From looking at event estimates to actuals, you can pull up visual data whenever you need it.

Messaging and emails are an integral part of team and guest communication. Our new mobile app makes viewing and sending messages simple so you can check that item off your to-do list and move on to the next.
Guest emails and team communication have been combined into one tab so all your messages are in one place. You can also view messages from within a booking or lead and still use templates to quickly send responses with documents attached.
